Western Choirs

The St. Lawerence’s Convent consists about 150 choristers, this includes students in primary, junior and senior. The teachers in charge of the choir are Mrs.Christa Perera and Miss.Sharon Grabau.

The choir trainers for St.lawerence’s convent are Sir. Francis de Almedia and Miss. Dilmy Fernando

The choir for the year 2017 has taken part in many competitions such as ministry competitions, English day competitions, and in musical festivals too. In the past years the 3 choirs have taken a place in the above mention competitions. It maybe solos or the choir itself.

The choir of St.lawerence’s convent wishes to continue its success in years to come and also wishes to set a standard higher than any other school where music is concerned.
